On A Rainy Sunday Night

10.30pm at Dolce & Gelato

"Oh no, it's pissing down out there!" - "Did you come by bike?" - "Of course, I always come by bike." - "I can give you a lift home." - "No, that's alright." - "Are you sure?" - "Yes, I'm gonna be fine." - "But it's pissing down, I don't even wanna walk over to my car." - "Yes, it's really bad." - "It's ok. I am gonna go home where I can have a warm shower, a cup of tea and wear my ugg boots." - "But look, it's really bad." - "You should get a rain coat." - "I have a rain coat." - "With you?" - "No, at home but I've got one!" - "Why didn't you bring it?! It's bloody winter!" - "No, it is not! It's autumn." - "It's pissing down, look at that!" - "I can really give you a lift home." - "Yeah, but then, I would have to leave my bike here and get it tomorrow. I'd rather cycle home now and have my bike tomorrow." - "But. you're gonna be soaked." - "Yeah!" - "I grew up in Northern Germany where it rains about 300 days a year, I am used to it." - "Are you sure you wanna ride your bike in this weather?" - "Well, I have to. Otherwise I don't have my bike with me tomorrow." - "I'm gonna give you a lift!" - "Ok, convinced. I'll get my bike during the day." - "Where is it?" - "Outside, no one is gonna steal it!" - "You wanna leave it outside?! " - "Where else is she gonna put it? In the shop or what?" - "Maybe she could..." - "Let's just go outside and have a look. Maybe it's not that bad anymore. It doesn't look too bad." - "Ok, andiamo!" -"Look, it's alright. Not too bad. I'll be fine." - "Are you sure?" - "Yes!" - "But you should really get one of these big rain coats...."

No, it is not!!! It's not raining 300 days a year! It's not raining, when it's stormy!
